Taxonomic Comments
This record is for a broad treatment of Rosa palustris, including R. obtusiuscula (which was described as endemic to Tennessee) as recognized by Lewis et al. in FNA (2014, vol. 9) and Weakley et al. (2025). Kartesz (1994, 1999) recognized a narrower concept of R. palustris, with R. obtusiuscula as distinct.
